April 14, 2016: The Hate Files XXI

posted in: Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs, White Sox | 2

On the last episode of the Hate Files, we talked about the Black Mamba.  His last day in the NBA was yesterday, so I’m proposing that the file be closed… yet, for some reason, the hate came back full force the last few days.  All the hype around his last game… the way they fed him the ball and let him shoot… it’s all pretty sickening.  It’s sickening to see this non-original copycat get all this love.  What will he do next?  Who gives a rat’s ass?

But no, this is not a 2nd Hate File on Kobe; that would be unprecendented… original… something he does not represent nor is he worthy of.  However, we will keep it in the same sport.  It’s been an awful NBA season.  With the Kobe crap… Hate File check, the Bulls sucking… Hate File coming soon, and the Golden State Warriors beating the 72-10 mark.. Hate File NOW.

Each Hate File has a little different flavor to it.  It’s not like I’ve built up hate for this team over the years.  It’s not like I hate specific players on this team.  It’s not like they beat us in the NBA Finals…. but wait, they DID beat the Bulls in the 1975 Western Conference Finals on their way to their 1st NBA title.  So, yeah, there’s that.  But more prevalent, is the fact that they beat our beloved Chicago Bulls regular season record of 72-10.  That’s where the hate is centralized.

It’s a blind type of hate.  Anybody that beat this record would have been hated, unless of course it was the Bulls themselves, but I don’t think we have to worry about that for a while… a long while… a really long while… a really, really.. OK, you get it.  Honestly, I can’t believe the record was broken.  I thought of the 72-10 mark as one of those unbreakable records.  It could never be beat.  But it was… and now I have to hate.

This Warriors team is great… for the 2016 NBA.  Put this team back in any era, and they take a step down.  It’s hard to compare eras, and there is a ton of bias, but this is my Hate File, and this Warriors team would have had absolutely NO CHANCE against ANY of the 90s Bulls championship teams with MJ.  Sorry, that is a fact.  With their outside shooting prowess… shut them down and now what do they have?  With their mighty mouse of a superstar… fragile little guard… how would he have fared in a more physical time?  Not so well.  Looking at that team, I still can’t believe they beat the record… is the NBA THAT bad nowadays… or is it that this team just put in effort every night and plays true basketball like no other team does.  That’s an admirable trait…no.. no…  I still hate them.

Vitamin C depletes from commander cialis our body especially in legs and hands, bad memory, etc. A man, free viagra tablets when suffering from ED, has to give up during the act in spite of such minor issues. How to Use cialis online ? cialis is to provide erection, not to protect user’s partner from any kind of disorder or have been facing any health issue, then you can think of choosing kamagra oral jelly after you have just had a heavy meal. Honestly, I still consider these guys a flash in the pan.  I mean, they only have 1 NBA title.  This is what, their 2nd good season in a row?  OK, a really good season, but still… they don’t even have a 2nd ring yet!  Let me repeat that… a 2ND RING!  Not 3, 4, 5, or like my favorite dynasty of all time from the 90s, SIX NBA TITLES… we’re talking 2…. that’s child’s play.  I spit on that.  Talk to me when you can fill a hand… then, then maybe, just maybe, will I consider you among the greatest teams of all time… maybe.

It’s times like these where I am so happy I don’t watch ESPN, because I’m sure this is all they’re talking about…. all they’ve been talking about.  And Twitter… who would win between the Warriors and the 95-96 Bulls?  Give me an F’n break.  There is no competition.  Yes, some of the old Bulls have called for a sweep, but I’m not.  I’ll give the Warriors a game… period.  Assuming they have home court, like Phoenix in 1993, I’ll give them one of the 1st 2 games… no more.  Bulls in 5 sounds about right, although 5 of their 6 titles ended in 6 games…and because it would mean more money for the NBA, I could see the Bulls throwing a game to make it 6.  That’s the only way they win more than one.

Now the playoffs start, and I have to root against them.  I have to hope this record that they’ve broken… this record that was so precious to me as a die-hard fan… will be missing something.  It will be missing the most important thing, the ring.

It really didn’t matter what team, or who was on this team.  I didn’t even have to know.  It wouldn’t matter.  Whoever this team was, would get the hate… a hate fueled by the shattering of one of the most impressive hometown records.  Yep, so it’s the Warriors that get this file.  They were the culprits.

They don’t compare.  It’s really not that close.  For stupid people to even think that the Warriors are the best team in history, makes me laugh… and hate at the same time.  They shouldn’t even be in the same sentence…. not even the same conversation.  This team is all hype, and a beneficiary of an NBA era where team’s max effort is discouraged… just ask Gar and Pax.  This Hate File remains open, but I’m moving on; I need to open another.  I’m done talking about these chumps.  And I meant it… I’ll be hoping they lose at every turn in the playoffs.. maybe even in the Finals to make it hurt worse.  To make it hurt like they’ve made me hurt.  To make them feel how it feels.  The best regular season record coupled with zip, zero, nada.  That’s what I must hope for… so that those stupid people could stop thinking stupid things… and this hate file can be officially closed.  Golden State, GSW, Dubcity… whatever they call you… I call you a fraud, and I hate you very much.

i disagree….not about being upset about the record being broken, that’s understandable and acceptable, but about dissin’ the team that did it. i did watch a few of their games, and they are that good. i’m not gonna get into any of that comparison crap that’s going on, that’s kinda pointless and very locale subjective. but after watching them a few times, they just play the game nite in and nite out. they show up, and come to play. curry leads, but the rest of them do more than just follow. no predictions, but i definitely see them blowing thru the playoffs. not sweeping every series, but going thru and bringing it home.

I hate that gsw broke the record. Maybe they are deserving, maybe not. But I know that I will be rooting for them to lose to stop the nonsense comparisons to the 96 Bulls. Give me MJ and the Bulls against any team, now or in the past. He would not let them lose, as evidenced by his perfect 6-0 record in the finals, none of which ever made it to a 7th game. Keep the record gsw, the Bulls and MJ will keep the GOAT title as well as their 6 rings!
