December 20, 2016: The Hate Files XXVI

What a better way to ring in the holidays with a brand, new Hate File.  I can’t think of a better way.

This one is for the idiots.  Yes, I know, I need to be a bit more specific.  There are a lot of idiots out there; I already sideswiped the idiot drivers with a Hate File.  So in this hate file idiot version, we’re going after idiot robbery victims.

Sound harsh?  Maybe.  If you have ever been robbed, then you know the horrible feeling that comes with it.  I have been the victim of that crime, multiple times.  Could I have prevented it?  Possibly.  There are some that you can’t prevent.  But there are a number of things that you CAN do.  Too many times I see people doing dumb shit.  They’re just asking to be robbed.  Let us begin.

People walking around on the phones is the first stop.  Let me start with a question:  Would you walk around with $500 cash in your hand?  If you would, you’re stupider than I thought.  Nobody is going to walk around with a wad of cash, exposed for the whole world to see.  You’re just asking to be robbed.  So if you won’t do that, then why the hell would you walk around on your phone?

I understand the phone calls… if it’s a must… if you’re in a highly populated area, like say downtown Chicago; even that is no guarantee.  But if you’re out walking to the train in the morning, and it’s dark outside, put your damn phone away for a minute.  If you’re coming home from work, walking down a side street, catching up on facebook, put your damn phone away.  You are inviting the scum bags to rob you.  YOU are part of the problem here.

Let me tell you about the train ride.  Sometimes I will take the CTA into work, and man… every fricking person is on their phone.  The worst one was a lady, standing right by the door, breaking out her iPad… just touch screening away, while the door opens and closes at each stop.  I almost wanted to snatch it from her and run off the train to teach her a lesson.  How stupid can you be?  That’ll be the same lady who’s crying when somebody takes her iPad.  Be smart people.

However, Kamagra medicines are now available in select online pharmacies. browse this link cialis wholesale india Right now, there are actually plenty of solutions to waning or lost interest in sex is now also available online. viagra 50 mg These Kamagra drugs are available in different forms such as viagra brand, cialis professional, cialis uk soft gel capsules, and videoleadspro.com soft tabs. It stimulates the pituitary gland to produce more HGH that in turn generic viagra increases testosterone. Even worse than just being on the phone, is being on the phone, with your headphones on.  So now, not only are you holding up $500 in cash for everybody to see, you’re totally oblivious of your surroundings as you listen to the next Michael Buble Christmas song.  I have to remind myself… maybe these people are from the suburbs, or have moved here from other states.  If you grew up in the city your whole life, you know better; you should know better.

Back in the day, it was gold chains.  Many times on the train & bus have I seen gold chains get snatched off people’s necks, as the perp runs out the door.  It used to be nice gear too.  I remember sitting next to my buddy on the bus; he had his brand, new Starter hat on.  As we stopped at the light on 60 something and Western, kid on a bike rides up next to the bus, reaches in the window, and snatches his hat; bye bye.  I remember playing football, and everybody hanging up their Starter jackets.  As we played, a car pulled up, guys jumped out, and grabbed everybody’s jacket.  You know whose jacket was left; mine.  You know why?  Because it wasn’t a name brand jacket.

Another note… if you’re wearing name brand stuff out there, be aware.  It sucks you can’t have nice stuff, but it attracts those type of folks too.  So when you’re on your iPhone 7 with your headphones, Gucci bag, and leather jacket, you may want to reconsider taking public transportation into the neighborhoods.  I’m trying to save you too from being an idiot victim.

The thing is, you barley hear about robberies.  They happen ALL the time.  They are WAY down the priority list for cops.  You see the murder numbers; what would you be focused on?  Those people who rob, they know this.  They are out there.  They are looking… for their next victim.  Will it be the lady who sits there reading the newspaper or looking out the window?  Maybe.  But more likely, they’re looking to make this as easy as possible.  Let me jump on the train, and see that person standing by the exit door with their phone in their hand.

PUT THE PHONES DOWN FOR A MINUTE PEOPLE!  It ain’t that serious, trust me.  Or, roll the dice… but when you get robbed, don’t come crying.  Learn your lesson BEFORE it happens to you.  This started as a Hate File towards you dopes, but it’s kind of turning into a Public Service Announcement.  So there, see… I knew this in line with the holiday spirit.  You heard it hear first.

Maybe you’re not from here.  Maybe you come from a place where you can leave your car and house doors open.  Maybe you don’t know about the big city.  Well, I’m here to help.  Listen, take my advice, and don’t me another idiot victim.  Welcome to Chicago!

Hahaha! So true! Root cause of all of this is social media. Everyone has to know via live stream that your walking down the street or hey this what I ate for dinner..so dumb! In between texting and driving and all social media, when was the last time you called to talk to someone? Phone companies give you the unlimited voice plan as an add on now a days…times have changed.

Idiots all over but bad stuff happens to people doing everything right, too. Just the way of the world nowadays. You always have to be aware of your surroundings. Make good decisions. Dont make it easy to become a target. Just like animals, these criminals go after the weakest/easiest ones in most cases. Idiot victims beware. Doesnt matter if you are in the big city or suburbs, crime is everywhere. Just be smart!
