Back in 1994, Gang Starr wrote about it… tons of guns real easy to get, tons of guns bringing nothing but death.  We saw another example of this recently in Florida, where 17 kids were killed.  When does it stop?

I think I know where it should start.  Who the heck needs to own an assault rifle?  Seriously.  That’s the weapon of choice in these mass shootings; that’s the weapon of choice on the streets for the gang bangers.  Whether you acquired it legally or illegally, it just shouldn’t be.  It shouldn’t be produced any longer, period.  Besides the military and swat team, who else needs an assault rifle?  The answer is nobody.

Where do you even start to make that happen?  I guess paying closer attention to who you’re voting for.  If gun reform is an important enough subject, which it should be for everyone, then those folks who don’t support it, shouldn’t get our votes.  I mean, you got the head chief making it easier for the mentally ill to get weapons… seriously?  Something is not right here.  The NRA supports all these candidates with tons of cash, forcing them to back them in return.  Meanwhile, mental illness gets no support or funding.  That’s a dangerous mix, one that showed it’s head again in Florida.

It’s scary.  My son, my nieces and nephews, all just starting off in school, and THIS is what I have to worry about?  Yes, maybe you’re not worried about it because it didn’t effect you.  But if you had to choose what’s more important between the life of a child or owning an assault rifle, the choice is easy; if it’s not, then you’re an idiot.  That’s what it comes down to.  If these guns were not available, these types of mass shootings would not happen.

Make America great is what we hear.  You know what America is great at… mass shootings.  This doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world.  And why is that?  Because we allow folks to own these crazy high powered guns legally; that’s just asinine.  And the punishment for those peddling guns illegally… throw out the key basically, but then again, who knows how the NRA is tied into those operations…
Stress is something which can run your life and this would be the best love buy viagra no prescription cute-n-tiny.com medicine. There’s a broader use and viagra for females application, utilised by folks of dyslexics and by dyslexic adults. According to this, pill viagra for sale can be called as a herbo-mineral ayurvedic drug that has aphrodisiac effects on human health.
It’s all about money, and it’s pretty fricking sad.  We’re worried about building a wall for safety?  Meanwhile we’re putting assault rifles into more people’s hands, leading to horrific mass deaths.  It should have stopped after those 1st graders got gunned down.  It should have stopped after Vegas.  Will it stop now?  I could go back further too.  Again, when does it stop?

And what can we do… seriously, I want to know.  I want to do something about it.  This is just stupid… stupidity with the worst possible consequences.  Unfortunately, unless it’s one of your own gunned down in one of these senseless shootings, it’s not important.  It’s sad, but are we becoming immune to this?  This is the new norm.  This is greater America?

No, I refuse to believe that.  I can’t consciously not try to at least figure out something to do when I know my leaving things the way they are, we’re putting our kids, my kid, my nieces, my nephews in more danger.  There’s enough out there to worry about as it is without having to worry about them getting gunned down by someone with an assault rifle.

Yeah, yeah, back to sports.  Just like people want to tell Lebron to shut up and dribble; that’s a load of BS.  Yes, I’m actually defending Lebron here.  He has a right to say something just as anybody else does.  If these famous people and athletes can use their voice for something good, then more power to them.  I hope these students from Florida and all over the country help make a change too… more power to them.  I hope I can figure out a way to help too… and maybe you can too.

Money. That is at the root of all evil, right? I mean, why else would these weapons continue to be made? The NRA throws tons of cash around supporting whoever is going to push their agenda and/or leave them alone. This is not rocket science. Gun laws need to change. Gun production needs to change. How many more of these school incidents need to happen before something is done? These are horrible tragedies, but you are right, until it hits your door, the anger and pain subside. Just the way it is. Make America Great Again should include making America safe again. Guns and money are the main issues here. Everyone can talk until they’re blue in the face about making changes and doing stuff, but ultimately we have to rely on others to make things happen. Yes, we can do small things and take small steps, but we are not in control to make massive changes. Those that get “voted” in are. Let’s hope they start listening. We all know how corrupt government is. That in itself is another huge problem. Guns and schools do not mix…bottom line. Help keep kids safe and make a change before the next tragedy happens.

Stopping the sale of ‘assault rifles’ and other of the same ilk will NOT make the problem go away. Not by itself. There are more steps that need to be instituted along with the ban off assault/automatic weapons. First off, the gun laws need to be Federal, and not allowing the laws to change state by state. Second, the purchase of any type of weapon(s) needs to be subject to a much more thorough background check. Not to ignore the 2nd Amendment, but make it tougher to purchase a weapon. Make sure that the purchaser is going to be liable for that weapon going forward, and not someone who’s gonna buy it and report it stolen 2 days later. Third, there should be NO purchase of guns at gun shows. There is not enough time for a thorough background check to be run in the few hours you’re at a gun show. Right now, with a credit card and a valid drivers license you can purchase a weapon in 15 minutes! And fourth in my list, but not necessarily last, the death penalty needs to be brought back into play. You take a life, you give up your right to the one you were given. Unless it’s in self-defense, it’s plain and simple. Screw those do-gooders out there. So many things wrong with ‘the system’ right now. And there will be no easy fix going forward. But it HAS TO START SOMEWHERE!!!
