It’s been fun picking ATS…fun because I haven’t lost one red cent with my 3-4-1 record thus far. Pulled out an awesome (lucky) push with the Vikes. I sure thought that was Papa on the phone making the Vikes kick that PAT, but then they didn’t kick it?? Weird for sure. And now, Papa Vegas is at its finest. Jaguars +7.5 at Patriots
Roof, roof. Yeah, love the underdogs and love picking with my heart. My heart hates the Pats…so sick of them and all their drama, some real, some made up. Brady injury? Um, no. And all the nice talk about the Jags; it’s textbook Pats…butter them up, don’t give them any bulletin material, and rip their hearts out. In fact, the Jaguars were talking a lot before the game. Smart? Probably not, but at this point in the season should it really matter?
To the actual game, the Jags defense is the real deal; throw out all those points the Steelers scored last weekend. Down 21-0, or up 21-0 actually, the plan changed; a different game was called allowing more points to be scored. And what about all those points Bortles led them to? Throw that out too? Vikings -3 at Eagles
Sticking with my first instinct is not always a good thing… Did the Vikes win their Super Bowl last week with that miracle? The Eagles defense is no slouch and will be foaming at the mouth like their fans on Sunday. Just think of how drunk and obnoxious Philly fans will be for this late starting game. Wonder how many Vikings fans will make the trip… The Vikings defense is the best in the NFC, and since I rode with the best defense in the AFC, I’ll do the same here in the NFC.
Keenum vs Foles. Who will make the bigger plays? That may help answer the question who will win this game too. Lean Keenum, even on the road. Still trying to figure out why I’m rooting for the Vikings…maybe because with a win, they will play in their home stadium for the Super Bowl. How cool would that be? It would be cool for everybody other than Eagle fans. I worry about that though. Does the feel good story, the absence of Wentz, and the miracle play last week put all the public money on the Vikes? After the fact here but made my picks prior as usual…
Jags+7.5–just thought there D was gonna be good enough to keep it close. The Brady injury was a non-factor as is most stuff coming out of the pats camp.
Iggles+3–have to love a #1 seeded home dog in back to back playoff games. They came through vs the falcons. It would have been cool to see the viqueens playing at home in the SB, but it was not meant to be.
The SB is set…who you got? 2 weeks to decide!
