4 months…. 4 months since the last Hate File. It’s not good to keep the hate in that long. We’re back.
It shouldn’t be a mystery who we’re going to be talking about here. Before this year, I’ve had minimal reasons to hate them. This has historically been a franchise that has been owned by the Chicago squad. Actually, at one point, I probably felt sorry for them. Here’s a franchise that has never won a title. The worst of the worst. Pathetic. I did have some early feelings of hate for them… when one of their own Danny Ferry took a swing at Michael Jordan. Yeah, I hated them for that minute… but then it was back to kicking their butt. Not only did MJ put them out of their misery a couple times in the playoffs with series ending game winners, he owned them… period. The team he scored his career high 69 points against… yep, same team. So what changed?
Well, it all started when a certain hometown kid got drafted by his hometown team. This hometown kid is already in the Hate Files… so the connection is obvious… at least it was at first. They knocked the Bulls out of the playoffs once when he was there. I was there for one of those games. The feelings were starting. Then, he got up and left them… high and dry. This kid abandoned his hometown team, he gave up trying to do something with his team, and rode some other guys coattails to 2 titles out of 4 finals appearances. You know the story. So the 50% successful experiment was coming to an end… Wade was getting old, and Bosh wasn’t enough, so Lebron looked out for #1 again, and got out of dodge… again. He found a new landing zone, which was an old landing zone, that he could have success with. He didn’t do it because he was coming home, although that’s what the NBA and Vegas are rolling with this year… he did it because he was in a better position to win than in Miami. He had prearranged for another superstar.. always has to be more than required with this guy.. to come to Cleveland. Well, he got hurt. Well, that hasn’t mattered to this point. But I guess as fans of any city, what could they do? Still, he made them look bad… he’s going to try to make it all better by bringing them their first title.
No, hell no. I don’t want that to happen. My buddy messes with me and asks if I’m still watching the playoffs. The answer is NO. Basketball season is over to me. I can only root for any team playing against Cleveland. At this point, it looks like I’m all in with Golden State in the Finals. Anything to not see this team, with that jerk, and those idiot fans celebrate. I hate this team. Hope gsw beats em because I am so tired of hearing about this lame ass queen fairytale story. The guy is a fraud. He may be the best player in the league, but he is afraid to fail and cant do anything without making sure he has other stars on his team to make him feel secure. There is no comparison between this joker and the GOAT, MJ. The queen and cleveland might get their long awaited ring soon, but I would love to see some more failure to see how they react to it.
