September 28, 2017: Getting Tired

posted in: Bears | 1

Why was I fighting it?  I tried to take a quick nap during the rain delay… that didn’t help.  I was still fighting to keep my eyes open.  But why?  Why was I forcing myself to stay up to watch this garbage?  My wife finally told me, just turn it off; you won’t miss anything.  She was right.  I turned the Bears game off this Thursday against the Packers.

I’m getting tired of it.  It’s been oh so long since 1985; we did have a good run with the Lovie Bears that took us back to that door step.  That was a good time for sure.  But even then, the position that killed us at the end of the day was the QB.  And now we have to watch another number 8 take snaps from behind center?  I know I said ABC, anybody but Cutler, but damn…  We made it through the Cutler desert to get this tall cup of water that turns out to be empty.  I was so happy that Cutler was gone… that we finally got from under the coach killer that anybody, just anybody would do.  I guess my words are getting tested…

Because we have somebody, but this anybody is nobody.  It would be one thing if we had no other options… and I did say I would be talking about this until the switch has been made…  I’m just so mad.  It’s just so damn frustrating.  The first fricking play from scrimmage!!!  Down 14-0 in the blink of an eye… why oh why do we have to continue to watch this guy play QB?

Neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, http://www.wouroud.com/bitem.php?item=3 free viagra uk epilepsy, and other disorders that affected the nervous system. Four more turnovers total.  A good team can’t overcome that, let alone us.  And the more I hear people rip Fox for this, the more I think Fox has nothing to do with this decision.  You don’t think he’d want to save his ass?  You don’t think he’s smart enough to see what everybody else sees?  That it’s about damn time to see what the young rook can do?  No, this is higher than Fox.  This is some plan… that we want to stick to… that gives Mitch the best chance to succeed.  This plan… that these people (Pace/McCaskey?) think is right… they have to be able to make adjustments to this plan… like now.  This isn’t Brett Favre starting with Aaron Rodgers waiting in the wings; we don’t have 3 years to burn.  Jesus, 3 years?!?!?!

No, we don’t have any more GAMES to burn.  We’ve already flushed a quarter of the season away; we’re lucky one of the came back up.  Now that we’ve finished the hardest portion of the schedule, it’s time to bring on Trubisky.  #FreeTrubisky is what I say!

I’m getting tired of seeing the Packers and the rest of the NFL beat up on us.  25 years of Favre and Rodgers = a Bears record of 14-38…  I’m getting tired of seeing the most important position in the NFL be botched by our Bears, especially when maybe, just maybe, we finally did something right.  I mean, we traded up 1 spot to get this guy at 2… we couldn’t wait.  We gave up more picks… just for him.  And he’s here… on the team… healthy… sitting on the bench???  Wake me when the Trubisky era begins…

4 turnovers without the talent to overcome 1 or 2, let alone 4…crazy! I know, I know, all of them probably were not just on glennon, but he was directly related in all of them…what does that say? The Bears fall behind so fast and get away from their game plan of running the ball…a lot. The D is playing on short fields. Stacking the deck against themselves by shooting their feet. The Bears should be 2-2 but are actually 1-3. They have 11 days off before a Monday night home game vs the vikequeens. This should be enough time to realize the MTru needs to be the starter. The Bears waited as long as they could. Time to see what the #2 pick in the draft can do…NOW. The season is not gone yet, but it will be soon if glennon stays at the helm. Maybe MTru won’t be able to turn things around, either, but the Bears and fans need to see what this guy can do. #freeMTru BEAR DOWN!!!
