I thought that would be an easy answer; I thought that would be a clear fact. It was tougher than I thought. Is it the same franchise? Was it in the same city? Did it change team names? I always thought it was the Reds, but depending on how you look at it, it could be the Braves; the Cubs were up there too. Anyways…
He always wants to know who the best is, like best baseball player of all time, best hockey player of all time, etc. I told him different people have different opinions; there is no clear cut, factual answer to these questions. Although I may say Babe Ruth & Wayne Gretzy, others may say other names. Like for best football player of all time… my answer is Walter Payton, but plenty of other names to choose from. There is one question where there is a clear cut answer, and although it is technically opinion, I tell him it’s a fact… you cannot argue this. The greatest basketball player of all time is Michael Jordan.
That brings me to the topic of today’s blog. Anyone who says Lebron James is the greatest of all time is a fool. You can have many different opinions about sports, and that’s fine; I will respect them. However, if you think that Lebron is the greatest ever, I instantly lose respect for you. I cannot take anything else you say seriously. You are dismissed, plain and simple. That opinion is wrong, period. I think about trying to “prove” this to these idiots…

On this April Fools’ Day, I wanted to point out the biggest fools of all: the folks who think Lebron is the GOAT. You are entitled to your opinion, but just know it is wrong. The fact is there is only one GOAT, and that my friends, is Michael Jeffrey Jordan.
