You shouldn’t fear for your job because you are expressing your opinion, like everyone working for the White House nowadays. Freely discussing ideas… taking advantage of everything that you have been through as an individual… tapping into that… makes for the most effective team in my humble opinion. That brings us to the next order of business: the firing of Jim Boylen. I was assuming that Artie was waiting for the new GM to be hired before proceeding down this path, but now I’m reading stuff that says Boylen thinks he’s safe? Hopefully that’s just dumb ass time out calling, no value adding Boylen being oblivious to the inevitable, because if he sticks around, all this good will, all this momentum that has been built, is washed away. I don’t care if and when this season resumes; I don’t care to let Boylen coach out the string. I don’t care to do any further analysis of his performance. If these smart basketball people that Artie has surrounded himself with are really smart, then the decision is clear.
