So I guess I should be saying Thank You to the Bulls for giving us something to talk about, as they announce the front office search. I mean, do you really think I’m going to write about some dudes playing video games? I know, I know… we’re desperate out here… heck, my dad texted me about marble racing… haha. News of any sort resembling the present day is welcome, yet why when I read this about the Bulls, did I get pissed off?
It’s because they’re playing us. I see some folks happy about this. It’s smoke and mirrors man. Unless Gar and Pax are gone, it’s going to be the same old shit at the end of the day. Let’s put somebody else as the face, while we continue to do our stuff in the background; change job titles or whatever, like DeNiro in Casino… he was still running it! Allowing this “search” to take place as Gar and Pax and their latest coach Boylen, who happens to be the worst of the bunch, remain on the payroll, is an insult. If Reinsdorf had any balls, if he took his head out of the White Sox ass for 5 minutes, he would shit can them and send them on their way. Complete reset with the front office & coaching staff, THEN do your search. Anything less than that just isn’t good enough.

Maybe if this new guy at least gets to hire a new coach… that gets me a little happy, and just hope that the new coach with the players he has and is given can overcome what Gar and Pax have done. Maybe they can use that as a motivating factor… using that as a collective chip on their shoulders, kind of like Major League, and no I don’t want a cardboard cutout of Gar, Pax, or Jerry in the locker room. I’m looking for any kind of silver lining here. Oh yeah, the silver lining is that we had something to talk about for a day… OK, back to the Bulls Magic games from 96…
