April 6, 2020: The Hate Files XLIV

posted in: Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs, White Sox | 0

Well, this is about as no brainer as you can get for a Hate File. Sure, we had the Packers, Cardinals, and LeBron James. We’ve had Steve Garvey, Aaron Rodgers and Jay Cutler. We’ve even had Fake Fans, Lazy Snow Brushers, and Stupid People. But finally, we have an entry who will get 100% of the vote; this is something that we can all get behind in full force with our collective hate. Here’s to you COVID-19.

Has there ever been a time like this in our lifetimes? I think not. This is unprecedented shit to the maximum suckage level. Who could have possibly predicted something that could come along and shut the entire globe down to this level? Yeah, maybe smarter people than you and I… maybe people who have watched movies like this… people who have lived in fear of something like this. Well, I am not one of those folks. I never believed shit like this could happen, and now that it’s here, it’s been here, it’s going to be here, I still can’t believe it.

We could take this thing a lot of different directions, but let’s just keep it in my wheelhouse which is sports related. I’m not going to say we should have been better prepared for this, although we probably should have. I’m not going to say we should have been way more out in front of this thing, although we probably should have. I’m not going to say we couldn’t have a worst possible person in the leadership position of our country, although I probably could. I’m not going to say let’s listen to the “experts”, the scientists, those smart people, because we probably should be. No, I’m going to bitch about how this damn thing has slowed the sports world down to a grinding halt.

No March Madness? How in the hell… You know this stuff is serious if Vegas is closing casinos down. Pretty sure this is the first time ever March Madness and the casinos have been shut down. Regardless of how big a fan you are of college basketball, pretty much everybody looks forward to March Madness. And maybe you’re not a gambler, but for the love of God, Vegas shut down?!?! Brutal. And you know what, that’s not even the worst of it.

Erectile dysfunction and lower libido viagra mastercard india are the symptoms of growing age. Effects of Diabetes on sexual life Diabetes has a slightly elevated risk of developing the tadalafil india disease. respitecaresa.org viagra prescription It is not only convenient but it is fast as well. Many adult men then assume and decide to consume such vitality medicine to solve this purpose and so doctors always guide their patients of erectile dysfunction to have cialis price for their erectile problems.

How about cancelling basketball and hockey seasons? Yeah, they’re not cancelled yet, and I’ve given my plans on resuming action based on a June 1st start date, which at the time, seemed conservative… but now… eek! The cancelling of those seasons is no huge deal to me personally; the Bulls and the Blackhawks were done. I’d have to sit and watch the NBA hand the Lakers a title with a little help from the zebras and see the Blues potentially repeat? Nah, I’m good.

The worst of it is that this is F-ing with baseball season; this is messing with Cubs baseball. I haven’t described my plan on how to resume the season there; maybe that’s next. But what are we talking here? Half a season at best? Imagine if the entire season got cancelled?!?! Finally what about the NFL? You really want to see people lose their minds, mess with our football.

Yeah, this COVID-19 is really doing a number on us, and it’s not done yet; my hate for this builds by the day… I think personally it’s peaked for me today, and that’s why I let this out. I don’t know how I can best quantify my hate for what is going on right now. Maybe LeBron James in a Packers uniform? Maybe Jay Cutler in a Cardinals uniform? The 80s Pistons? I think about all the hate I’ve felt for teams and individuals in sports over the years and package it up; that’s what I’m feeling right now. It’s not good to hate; you need to let it out. I could go on here, but I think I need to cut it.

Because no matter how many Jordan or Payton videos I watch, now matter how many highlights of the Chicago championship years I view, there is no substitute for live sports…. and I’m not even going to get into what this shit is doing at a personal level; no baseball for my son this year? F that. Yeah, I know this whole sports impact of the virus may be small in the big scheme of things… it’s not like people are dying or sick or unemployed here… well, maybe unemployed. Any way you cut it, it sucks; any way you cut it, I hate it. F COVID-19! And that’s all I have to say about that…
