August 27, 2020: Keeper

Thursday brought some more normalcy with our Fantasy Football draft. However, this year would be different, at least in this league. This is the second draft of our keeper league; the first year that keepers will be in effect. This was fun.

You start off with a basic snake draft, and are like, this is cool. Then we started auction drafts, and it was like, this is REALLY cool; forget the snake drafts. Now, a keeper league… love it! Now we’re talking about an auction keeper league?!?! That sounds like the ultimate. But for now, just a basic keeper/snake draft. Still, it was a lot different prepping for the draft.

The first decision to be made, obviously, was what 2 guys was I going to keep from last year. These guys would be on my team for the next 3 years, so choose wisely. My first thought was that I did NOT want to keep my top draft picks and lose those slots; I like Julio and Kelce, but not enough to lose my first 2 picks. So, I went straight to maximizing value. The first keeper was a no brainer. I had picked him up off the free agent list, so keeping him, would cost me a 16th round draft pick. Considering he was typically being drafted in the 4th & 5th rounds, keeping Terry McLaurin was a slam dunk.

The next decision wasn’t that hard. I thought maybe Daniel Jones, since I drafted him pretty late, but… I could get him again if I want. I ended up keeping Devin Singletary who I took in the 12th round last year. He was going about 6 rounds ahead of that this year. Value baby, value…. build that depth. Now I just hope he keeps that starting job in Buffalo.

However, this prescription drug carries a lot of companies and some of the foreign pharmacies are making this medicine and making ads for buy super cialis . They control arteries which take the blood to the penis and cialis 40 mg http://www.cerritosmedicalcenter.com/pid-4770 veins which get the blood away from the penis. Because of the long-term treatment of chronic pain, it may lower the sexual drive, and buy cheap cialis needs corrective treatment like hormone replacement therapy. Administration: squeeze jelly from sachet onto spoon; consume orally or mix it with fruit.Take the 100mg fluid sachet once in a day.Let it disintegrate on the tongue before you swallow it; no tadalafil tablets need to drink water.Take it anywhere in the range of 15 to 30 prior minutes having intercourse.

Then I got some good news; I would be drafting 2nd this year. It was even better news considering the guy who got the 1st pick kept his 1st rounder from last year, so… I would have the 1st pick… of available players. Kamara was the top guy left, the clear cut pick. I’ve had him before; I really like him. Easy, right? Well… Mahomes was out there. My brother actually had him last year in the 1st round but chose to keep Kyler Murray from the 10th round instead. So… I usually just patchwork the QB position together, which is probably why I always lose. If I took Mahomes, I’m getting the best guy out there, and… I could potentially keep him for the next 3 years. Done. First pick, Patrick Mahomes.

I was very happy the way things developed after me; a WR who I did not expect slid down to me. Kenny Golladay.. St. Rita represent; he’s mine. Then I had my eye on the 3rd best TE. Since Kelce and Kittle were gone, Andrews was my guy. This draft was going perfect, except… what about the RB position? Well, I wanted Conner, but he was gone before I ended up picking Kenny and Mark. I decided to address it with the next 2 picks: Jonathan Taylor and Mostert. Again, pretty happy with the way that turned out. Rounding out my team: Cohen and Mattison at the other 2 RBs, Preston Williams, Shepherd, Kirk, and Perriman at the other 3 WR positions. Jack Doyle was my backup TE, the San Fran D, and of course, Robbie Gould. I was pretty satisfied. I actually got a draft grade of A-. I usually say who the hell cares about that grade, probably because I get a shitty one, but this year…. yeah, I knew what the hell I was doing!

Time will tell; hoping the season goes off without a hitch. More importantly, hope the Bears do well; next importantly, hope my fantasy team does well. Ready for some football…
