I see stuff out there that he’ll go elsewhere and do well; maybe… probably not. I think we’ve seen enough. I wanted to believe he’d get better. Some blame Nagy for it. The offensive line hasn’t helped. Sure, it wasn’t the ideal situation, but it shouldn’t have to be right? If the QB is the guy, he’ll make the team better. He doesn’t need everything to be perfect for him. Mitch isn’t that guy. Maybe he’ll be serviceable elsewhere… a career backup who may get a good chance one year. Who knows? We can say the same for the future of the QB position in Chicago; this isn’t a new question unfortunately.
What else is there to talk about? Sure, I’d like to see the Bears win again; it sucks seeing them lose week after week. I would never root for that, to improve draft position, or whatever. I watch the games, every game… I want to see them win. If the defense were playing like they can, I’d like the Bears to win this game, but they’re not. Houston will score points, which brings us back to the question of the year: how many points can this Bears offense muster?
