December 16, 2020: Executive Leadership Team

The most exciting topic you can possibly talk about with fans: the Executive Leadership Team. Man, can you feel the excitement? The Blackhawks tweeted the new executive team out earlier today like I give a shit. Unless you’re telling me we’re going to be creating more cap space by doing this, don’t roll it out like it’s something we should all be googling over, especially when you’re promoting someone who doesn’t even deserve to be around any longer. Merry Christmas Hawks fans!

I wrote about Bowman back in October:

Men face a variety of sexual troubles all over the world discount cialis and erectile dysfunction (ED) is high. Surely I thought this offseason would bring about the change the Hawks needed in the front office. We already said goodbye to Coach Q, to McDonough, but Bowman somehow keeps his job through all of this. It will be 6 years this year since our last Cup, and considering how well Bowman did during this Stanley Cup run anyways, it’s just shocking that he’s still around. What kind of dirt does he have? Does his dad still have that much pull? Are we getting him on some kind of “hometown discount” to stick around? What gives?

I’m not alone. It’s hard to find any Blackhawks fans that approve of this move. Just give the old comment section a quick browse on Twitter; ouch. It’s hard to argue the displeasure this has caused. Heading into this next year with zero proven goaltenders coming off a couple years where our goalies carried us doesn’t provide a whole lot of confidence in the upcoming season. How many goals will we have to average a game? Hey, maybe one of the guys will turn out to be OK; we can only hope.

If that doesn’t happen, and the odds are on the side of it not, then it’s going to be another rough year at the UC for the boys… wasting away the last good years for Kane & Toews. Thanks Stan? Seriously, you’ve done so good over the years that even though we’ve fired everybody else associated with the winning Cup years, you get to stay? This is starting to feel like a GarPax situation…

So happy the Bulls snapped out of that mode. I’m thinking until the Hawks do the same, we may be in for some rough sledding in the years ahead. Sure, this rough sledding is more easily endured because of the 3 Cups in the past decade, right? I don’t know. I’m just confused… how the heck does he get to stay?

I’m sorry, I need answers. I doubt we’ll get any. Like most bonehead moves our teams make, we just have to live with it. I’ll be on the lookout for some type of article justifying this; something that is going to make me feel better about it. Until then, well, what the hell else can I do? Start a Go Fund Me for a FIRESTAN billboard by the UC? Did that help get GarPax out? Will all the bitching help the Bears toss Pace?

OK, going to try to leave this on a positive note. He did draft Kirby Dach… unless he wanted somebody else and got overruled? Haha… Congrats Bowman, you lucky son of a bitch.
