OK, so… I did it. I finally took the first step back on the sports gambling road and opened up a Draft Kings account. Not sure how long this road will last, but we’re back baby… we’re back!!!
Was supposed to get a first time bonus through my brother’s referral, but haven’t seen it yet. I was able to get my $200 in bonus bets already though; these are broken down into 8 $25 bets, which I have to use within a week; that won’t be a problem… haha. All I had to do was place a $5 bet; well, hell, let me bet on this Table Tennis match going on in Poland right now. OK, I didn’t do that; I’m trying to keep the degenerate on lock down still. I threw $5 on UCLA to cover the 12 points against Utah last night; 1-0 baby, 1-0. Pay me my $4.54 mother f—ers… But, I wasn’t done… I had to take advantage of one of the crazy ass bonus bets they had; I don’t think I’ll be doing this on a regular basis, but figured to celebrate my first day back, what the hell. I put another $5… big spender… on Embiid, Tatum, and Doncic to score 25+ each; of course, I was watching… I saw Embiid pass the 25 number, but Tatum… that bum… only 20 points; of course Luka took care of business easily, but… the bet was already lost. So, I’m down $0.46 after one day, but with the $200 in bonus bets, I’m really up $199.54 right?
Already looking at the NBA lines for tonight; of course I like a few games. Not sure about the Bulls; if DD is playing, then maybe, but that one… that may be the candidate for my first “in game” bet. Since we will be watching, the possibility is real, yet… that goes back to my heart, and how I’m supposed to leave that out of my decisions; we’ll see. It’s fun. As long as it stays that way, no harm no foul… but I do have to use these $25 bonus bets, so… fire away matey! I told my brother I wouldn’t last past Monday night… haha.
So back to the NFL… sorry to say, but yeah, I really, really like the Vikings this weekend; it’s my favorite play this week, which means most likely it’s a loser, but… we’ll offset it. I’ll be taking the Chargers too, the Cowboys I think, taking the points with the Seahawks potentially… maybe that’s too much. In fact, I know it’s too much, but… I have to use the bonus bets, so… let it rip!
OK, back to the NBA lines for tonight… IF I stay away from the Bulls game, or at least wait until some in game bets, I’m kind of liking the West Coast games… Magic plus the points, Kings laying the points, and maybe the Clippers laying the points. See, I told you… I’m not going to make it through the weekend. Good luck to me!!!
