When they were put on the same line tonight, they looked pretty damn good. I can appreciate that Kane was trying to get Kubalik the hat trick, but you don’t do that when the game is on the line. Kane weaved in and out of the Ottawa defense, sitting pretty for the game winning goal; he dished it to Kubalik… the pass never made it. Thankfully it didn’t matter. The thing about Kane… he’s on another point streak; how many different point streaks has he had this year? Patrick continues to do his thing.

No rest for the Blackhawks though. They will travel the 120 or so miles to Montreal to face the Canadiens on Wednesday night. With the Hawks at 48 points and the Canadiens at 47 points, this Original Six matchup should be a good one. Next step; beat the Canadiens. Go Hawks!
