Scottie, Scottie, Scottie… First off, love you man. You are an all-time Bulls great, were part of 6 championship teams… you grew into the Robin to MJ’s Batman. Your defense was awesome, had some thunderous dunks, great bank shots, rebounded, assisted… you did it all over your career here in Chicago. I get that you didn’t get paid fairly, partially because of your contract negotiation skills, but you DID get paid eventually, right? And because of everything you accomplished here in Chicago, will always be a legend. Why are you trippin Pippen?

Phil Jackson a racist huh? I’ve known for a while not to take you too seriously when you open your mouth. Weren’t you endorsing LeBron as a better player than MJ a ways back? Anybody who thinks that has immediately lost my respect, especially you… out of all people? Look, you were talented, no doubt… an immense amount of raw talent when you first arrived at the Chicago Stadium. It was fortunate timing for you… to arrive when MJ was becoming the greatest of all time. It was also good timing for you, and everybody else for that matter, when Phil became head coach. You walked into a situation where you were able to grow, thrive, and become the all time great you became. In another situation, it may not have been so; I guess you can say that about a lot of people… not MJ, but a lot of players. I’m very happy that MJ was selected to come to the Bulls and not anybody else. But look, let’s not get it twisted. It was MJ… then everybody else, including you, right?

You had your chance when MJ decided to play baseball; you did well… very well, but… the Bulls came up short. Hue Hollins or not, all-time dunk over Ewing or not, you were not able to lead us to the peak. Imagine if you had brought a title home in 1994… wow! What a different conversation we would be having right now. But you didn’t… and then cried like a damn baby when Phil drew up the play for Toni.. really? Is this what that’s all about? Toni hit the shot btw… I mean, if we want to go back to Game 7 of the 1990 ECF and your migraine headache… OK, let’s not go back. Let’s remember you for who you were. Let’s remember the fact that you toughed it through your back injuries to stay on the court, even as a decoy, to help the Bulls get #6; I respect that, big time. Like I said, I love you Scottie.

But, if I had one suggestion, I would say stop talking. We know you like the sauce… when I took a picture with you back in the day, you smelled like liquor… big time. We know you just had a tremendous loss; can’t imagine bro… cannot imagine. We know you have a book coming out; we know you just recently went after KD. We know you whined about how The Last Dance portrayed you. We know you Scottie. Just chill man; take it easy. Enjoy your retirement. Don’t become a dickhead and try to create drama for attention. You’re better than that, no? We know you are no longer a Bulls ambassador; not sure what happened there. But… you are a Bulls legend, forever. Let’s just leave it at that. Isn’t that enough? We know you ain’t tippin’, just stop trippin’… peace 33.
