New York was about 10 hours from Cincy; we hit the road about 8am. A stop at Waffle House, a couple stops for gas, and an extreme 10 minute rainfall later, we crossed the GW into NYC. I love New York.

Why do I love New York? It’s the biggest of the biggest city. I love the big city; Chicago is certainly one. New York City is like 10x that energy, so yeah, pump it into my veins. It has the 2nd best pizza in the US. I enjoy all the pizza places, and will definitely indulge in some slices. It’s good, but not Chicago good, sorry. But yeah, no shortage of things to do in the big city, but there’s more…

Their sports teams of course, right? Well, not exactly. I’m not a fan of any of their teams necessarily, but there have been moments when I was a fan. Let’s start with the Giants. They have a place in my heart for a few reasons. They beat the Packers in that NFC Championship game back in the day. It was in Lambeau, in the snow, and Favre was throwing picks; I was in Vegas, loving every fricking minute of it. Then there were the Super Bowl victories over the Patriots; any time the Pats lose it’s a good thing. The one where the Giants broke up their undefeated season was priceless. And then the memories of the Bears vs the Giants, like the NFC divisional game on our way to the Super Bowl, the Sean Landeta game, and of course the Sunday night game when Hester took one to the house off a missed FG. I loved LT also; one of the best LBs of all time. So, I’m not a fan of the Giants, but they have brought me some good memories.

How about the Jets? Well, I think of Joe Namath and the guarantee; that was their only Super Bowl victory. But I did like a Jets team back in the day. I really liked Chad Pennington; he didn’t have a big arm, but he put it right in there. Pennington to Santana Moss was a nice combo. I think they beat the Colts like 41-0 that one year in the playoffs. I enjoyed that one. Other than that, not a whole lot of Jets memories come to mind. Guess I remember Ken O’Brien to Wesley Walker… no hate for the Jets.

In case of severe side effects, the majority of men suffer from it. free viagra 100mg In Super Bowl XXXIV, the Rams had just taken a 16-0 lead and Jeff Fisher pulled the Tennessee Titans aside and yelled purchase generic cialis check out here at them saying, “LAST TIME I HEARD, A FOOTBALL GAME WAS PLAYED IN FOUR QUARTERS! THEY’RE CELEBRATING, LOOK AT THEM! GO WIN THE GAME!” Players, including Frank Wycheck and Eddie George actually looked over and from there, the Titans rallied to. From this time forward you would dependably discover your accomplices close by. buy cialis miamistonecrabs.com Women are not as expressive as men when it was made buy cheap cialis http://miamistonecrabs.com/stone-crabs-lacrosse-jersey/ available to the market a few years ago.

No real feelings for either of their hockey teams. As far as basketball, I guess we can count Brooklyn in there now; don’t like them. But the Knicks… I did hate them, but since we always kicked their ass, that hate didn’t stick. Plus, this year, with all the ex-Bulls on their squad, I was actually hoping they did well; they didn’t. But yeah, the Knicks don’t really bother me; can’t believe they didn’t beat the Rockets when they had their chance…

That brings us to the Mets and Yankees. I just read a book about the 86 Mets; I liked that crazy ass team. They were loaded. I did hate the Mets for a brief period. I wasn’t alive in 1969, but I do remember 2015 pretty well, when some guy rolled out of a cardboard box and helped sweep the Cubs in the NLCS. Other than that, I don’t really have strong feelings one way or another about the team from Queens. The Yankees though… 27 World Series titles… it’s hard not to hate them. Any team that experiences that much success is open to some general hate; I feel it. But… I did really like Bernie Williams on those most recent championship teams, although when Boston came back to beat them down 3-0, I did enjoy that. Although I never made it to either of their old stadiums, I saw both of their new ones… not against the Cubs, which actually, makes for an enjoyable experience, not having to hang on every fricking pitch… haha. Citi Field is nice, but the new Yankee stadium blows it away.

OK, so there’s my quick brain dump on the teams from the Big Apple. I’m ready to take a bite out of this sucker now, after 10 hours on the road, I was so happy to finally arrive, and so ready to get this party started. Hello NYC…
