There have been a lot of great recent ones like Kris Bryant, Cody Bellinger, Ronald Acuna Jr, Pete Alonso, Jacob deGrom, and even a recent White Sox recipient in Jose Abreu. Out of all these guys that won rookie of the year, there have only been two guys that won MVP the same year: Fred Lynn and Ichiro Suzuki.
