June 7, 2020: No Bulls

Unlike the return of hockey, the return of basketball will not include a Chicago team. Honestly, that’s OK. Even if you think the Blackhawks have only a 5% chance to go on a run and win it all, the Bulls would be 0%. There is no way the Bulls were doing anything this year. Even if they did somehow win a few games, it wasn’t leading anywhere. Like I said, I’m fine with that.

The only thing I’m not fine with is the fact that Jim Boylen is still the coach. For all the good things Artie has done, this is a real head scratcher for me. Yeah, yeah… want to do the due diligence; let me save you a lot of wasted time. Fire him now. I guess time is on our side at this point, but still… don’t waste it trying to figure out if Boylen is worth it; he’s not. The quicker you can get a new coach in, the better. Don’t ruin all the positive momentum built up by somehow deciding to keep that bum of a coach. Don’t listen to anybody else Artie; you know better. The fact that he’s still employed by the Bulls is worrysome. I thought this was a no brainer; the longer this drags on, the more worried I get. Do the deed already!

OK back to the return of the NBA. I think what they have lined up is good. Like the NHL, they’re pretty much going straight to the playoffs, which is smart, although in both leagues, there really wasn’t that much left in the regular season. In the NBA more than the NHL, the playoff teams were pretty much already decided. Like the NHL, I just can’t wait for live sports to begin again… even if it includes no Bulls.

Now they can order this reputed medication via online. best prices cialis These viagra samples online guarantee men that they can give them an erected penis. The NBA cannot social distance either, and they don’t have gloves or visors that allow them to follow the safe practices when you cannot social distance; this is going to be interesting. There will be testing that is done. I’m assuming that if folks “leave the bubble” in Orlando that they will be retested? Whatever needs to be done should be done. Again, like all sports, hopefully we’re talking about an impact to only one season, or part of a season in this case. All of us have to take the necessary precautions at this point, although if you look around, it feels like many folks feel that COVID is over… have you seen Vegas? Looks like things are back to normal… I’m of the opinion we still need to be cautious; we have to move forward no doubt, but let’s not go balls out from the jump.

The only thing I’m not excited about is how the refs will work hard to give the Lakers every advantage possible; it’s going to happen. Not that the Lakers are chumps; they have a good squad, but having that type of support never hurts. Maybe I’m wrong. I know who I’ll be rooting for to win; anybody but the Lakers. Come on back guys…
