It started Friday while we were at the Bulls game; I saw the Wings up 2-0. Ha! You’ve got to be kidding me. I should have known better; we should have known better. Every time the Blackhawks got us thinking positively again, they bring us crashing down. Surely not against the Wings though… I mean, they really suck. Yeah, well, didn’t matter. That 2-1 loss really stung.
This leads us into Sunday night’s game at home against the Blues; surely a loss right? Well, I was hoping since the opposite of what I thought happened on Friday night, that maybe we could get one our way on Sunday night, considering this Hawks team is the king of opposite results. Not so lucky. The Blackhawks would lose… shut out in fact. The Blues would sweep the Blackhawks in a season series for the first time… ever. Ugh!
