May 21, 2020: Jordanaires

Now that The Last Dance finished, other folks must be bored too. Horace, Harper, Hodges, Pippen… all unhappy with the way they were portrayed in the documentary. What did they expect? This wasn’t called The Jordanaires… this was The Last Dance focused on and edited by Michael Jordan. HE was the single person who turned this franchise around. Yes, he didn’t do it alone at the end of the day, but without him, none of this happens.

Was everything portrayed accurately in this documentary? Well first of all, EVERYTHING couldn’t be shown; I guess it could have been, but this would have had to be another 10 episodes. Secondly, MJ got final say so on all of it, so sure, was this controlled by him? Was this everything from his point of view? Sure… I didn’t detect many lies though. It all seemed to be the way I remembered it when it went down. Now was it spun back then? Could be.

I just don’t understand why these guys are coming out hating now. You should be thanking Mike instead of being upset about something. Horace better watch his mouth. Currently a Bulls ambassador, we’ve seen him around the UC plenty of times the last couple years. I have a picture with him and my son; my son has his Bulls hat autographed by him. Nothing but love for Horace. Yet, now, you want to run your mouth about 23? Watch it. That’s royalty brother, and we would turn on your ass in a second if you continue to disrespect him. Tread lightly bro.

And Scottie is supposedly upset too? About what? The truth? I vividly remember the migraine headache game; yes, back then we thought he was soft because of that game. Hearing it told in this documentary, actually made me change my feelings about that game a bit. Then came the 1.8 second game; no excuse for that, and then he doubles down and says he’s do the same thing. OK… your words Pip. Then the fact that he didn’t want to F up his summer by getting surgery so he sacrificed the first third of the season; this is true, so… In fact at the end of the day, remembering how he played through pain in the last game of the dynasty, made me put the other negative stuff on the back burner. You were the Robin to Batman. You were one of the best Bulls players of all time. Nothing but love for you Pip. Don’t go acting like a baby now; you already were dismissed as Bulls ambassador.

I guess Hodges was upset being left out; Harper was running his mouth, saying they only showed part of what happened when MJ was reprimanding him during practice. We didn’t hear from Luc Longley through it all either; is he upset too? It doesn’t make sense they should hate this guy, because this guy was passing out jewelry to everybody who came along for the ride. And yes, we did need to play as a team, and we did… MJ wanted that too. That fact alone, and the fact that they did show how important that was, should make everybody happy.

The spotlight was on Jordan and rightfully so. Seeing this documentary didn’t make me feel worse about any other Bulls player. In fact, I appreciate every single individual who was apart of each of the six championship teams. When you win here in Chicago, you are forever remembered. Don’t go screwing it up, like Paxson has been doing… haha. OK, what’s next?
