Usually, I’m going backwards for this stuff; not a whole lot of current players that bring the hate out of me. Watching the Bulls lose on Friday night at the UC, the way they lost, the way a certain player reacted… I felt it. It’s not the first time I felt it for this guy either. So, yeah, welcome to your hate file Jalen Suggs.
It started a few years ago; it wasn’t even something he did against one of my teams. The game winning shot he hit for Gonzaga against UCLA pissed me off. Yeah, we were rooting for the underdog Bruins, but no, it wasn’t enough to hate the guy. It was a big shot to end an epic game; sucked to be on the wrong end of it, but certainly nothing to hate this kid. How did Gonzaga do in the finals that year anyways? Yeah, thought so. Fast forward to last year. He was drafted by the Magic; no big deal. First time the Bulls seen him, he scored 14, and the Bulls stomped the Magic by 35 points. The second time the Bulls faced the Magic last year, he was out with an injury; Bulls won again. Yet it was that third matchup last year that got my anger flowing again. The Magic kicked the Bulls ass by 19 points, and this guy was running his yap. He did make some nice plays in the game, a dunk, and I believe a big blocked shot, but boy oh boy, his chest was out; the Magic were feeling themselves that game, taking it to the Bulls. They faced off one more time and the Bulls dispatched them, winning the season series 3-1. The Magic finished 22-60; Suggs played in 48 of those games. Big impact on the squad rook…
That brings us to Friday night at the UC, the Bulls 1st matchup against the Magic this year. The Bulls were on a 3 game losing streak; the Magic were 4-11 overall. Yet, the Magic came in and took a big lead. The Bulls fought all the way back, and before Vooch missed 2 free throws, were in the driver’s seat. But no… only a 2 point lead, as Suggs made the go ahead trey. Bulls with no timeouts, ended up with a halfcourt shot that missed. Magic won, and there goes that man again… running his mouth… yelling something at the crowd, like “go the F home”… something like that. You just can’t be happy for yourself. Every time you do something good you have to let everyone know? Lucky for us that doesn’t happen that often…
First off, your team sucks. Secondly, you ain’t that great. For all your cockiness, you’re shooting a career 23% from behind the arc while averaging a dozen points per game; just blowing the doors off it huh Jalen? He acts like it. He acts like he’s the shit, but he really ain’t. And now, you want to yell at the UC crowd? As if last year’s ass kicking in Orlando wasn’t enough, hopefully the Bulls remember this, and get as mad about it as I am. Dispatch of these losers the next time around; don’t give them any life, or some guy can hit a lucky shot; yeah, the sun shines on every dog’s ass once in a while Jalen.
The Magic were back at it again Saturday night, doing what they do best: lose NBA games, lead by their “young star” Jalen Suggs. I know I don’t have much room to talk, but bro… you go to LeBron’s barber? Maybe use your millions to beef up that hairline bro, and maybe shut your mouth, and work on your game. You haven’t won shit, in college or the pros; that’s facts Jack. So go back down to Orlando, to a franchise that has never won an NBA title. Maybe if you work on your game, get better as a team, you’ll be able to do something some day, or maybe not. Maybe you’ll just pump your chest out every so often, while you play meaningless basketball games for the rest of your career; maybe you’re good with that. I just hope next time we see you somebody throws a Cartwright elbow your way, but probably not… so that’s why I had to. Take this ‘bow to the mouth young buck, and get back to leading the Magic to the bottom of the standings, but don’t worry, since it’s the holidays, I’ll still get you something for Christmas; enjoy that bottle of Rogaine, bitch.
