October 23, 2021: UC Rocking

posted in: Bulls | 0

It was night and day, from Thursday to Friday night at the UC. While our Hawks were getting booed off the ice, our Bulls were feeding the hype machine, blowing out the Pelicans in front of a full crowd for the first time in forever. It certainly seemed like the UC was rocking, and rightfully so.

Yes, it’s only the Pelicans; yes, it was only the Pistons. Yes, both teams were shorthanded. Yes, I was just telling myself not to get too hyped up about the Bulls so early in the season. But man… they look good. Although it was only last season, we seem light years removed from Hero Ball with Zach Lavine. Yes, he can still be A hero, but this Bulls team has some horses. The additions of DeRozan, Ball, and Caruso were on full display on Friday night. DeRozan, the mid-game, create your own shot specialist was pouring in buckets. Ball recorded a triple double. Caruso has instantly become a fan favorite. That fast break between Ball and Caruso, when Ball got the triple double on the alley-oop to Caruso… that was something. That was exciting. For that moment, I was fully bought into the hype… I wanted more.

The other thing about this team that has been missing the last few years is the defense. Yeah, this team plays defense too. We’ll have to see how they do against the best teams in the NBA, no doubt, before we can get too, too crazy, but I love seeing the guys clamp down… AND rotate! Stacey pointed it out in one possession, and yeah, you can see it. If you’ve been watching the last couple years, you did NOT see this. Guys were flying around in their rotations, forcing the Pelicans into a tough shot; you love to see it. Not since the days of Thibs have we seen this kind of hustle on defense. To give this effort consistently, through 4 quarters, game in game out, is the challenge. If the Bulls are able to do THAT, on top of the instant offensive improvements those additions made… now you can see why it’s hard to not be excited about this team.

But nowadays, people are more into getting aware about it viagra generika and coming openly to sort out their erectile dysfunction. First Attempts to Fly with Humans France is also the birthplace of the first manned flight in a Hydrogen Balloon generic viagra tab Just shortly after this spectacle Jacques Charles and the Robert Brothers managed to launch a new manned hydrogen balloon in Paris. Love the crowd rocking too… Although MVP chants already? Love Zach, but that may be a bit much… but when they started chanting it for Caruso… haha. OK, so I guess we’re just going to start chanting MVP for everybody that goes to the foul line for the Bulls? I guess I’m OK with that… haha. And Stacey… with the whole Be Like Zach thing a la Be Like Mike… hmmm… yeah, not so much my man, but I get it. I get it because this team has been tough to watch ever since Thibs left. Having to sit there every minute of every game and talk about this team… talk about this team before, during, and after each game… yeah, I’m sure it gets tough; I know it’s tough writing about them through the down years. So yeah, taking a step into the top half of the NBA, threatening to go “HIIIIGHER”… I get it Stacey. It’s tough to keep the excitement level down; it’s only game 2!!!

Well, OK, let’s chill out for a minute… no, wait… the Bulls are back on the court on Saturday night… against the Pistons… at the UC?!?! Feed the hype machine; feed it!!! The tougher games will start after that, but hey…let’s enjoy this fricking ride… early and often! Go Bulls!!!
