Let’s start with this goal, for sure: playoffs! If the Bulls failed to make the playoffs this year, it would be a catastrophic failure. Sure, last year I was ready for them to take that step; honestly, I thought they should have made the playoffs, one of the last seeds to get in would have been fine. But last year is gone, and we gave Donovan his mulligan. Now, with the addition of talent, and the second year under Billy, I’m expecting big things from the Bulls. And no, not just a 7 or 8 seed; I’m expecting at the very least to see them in the 4 vs 5 matchup in the first round of the playoffs 7 months from now. Too much?
Zach is at the center of things; well, actually Vucevic is the center, but you know what I mean. For a guy I’ve always liked, but never thought he could be THE man, he’ll get another chance. In fact, he already is the man on the Bulls, but is he that true NBA superstar? Just because he is the best player on our team, doesn’t mean he’s a true NBA superstar… just saying. That being said, he doesn’t have to be that guy to carry the load; he can certainly be our number one option, but the nice thing about this year, will be our alternate options, which have improved dramatically.

The other nice addition was Caruso, who annoyed me… but anyone playing with LeBum does that. Interested to see what he brings to the table. And of course, let’s not forget about Coby. Speaking of guys who can create their own shot, with a guy like him leading the 2021-2022 Bench Mob… yeah, lots to be excited about here IMO. Oh yeah… and how about Patrick Williams!?!?!
So while the Bears are struggling at lifting us up from the Cubs train wreck season, the Blackhawks and Bulls will be here soon to help; yes I know the Sox are still playing… good luck to them. But the Bulls… yeah, this has to be the year we’re back in the playoffs, right? Most definitely, and that is more than just my biased opinion. I’m ready for it. Go Bulls!!!

I think they’re going to be fun to watch this year and will finally be back in the playoffs.
